SAWA returns to Barharini Beach Bar & Restaurant at Swahili Beach Resort for another edition of Baharini Sounds, bringing our signature approach to carefully curated underground electronic music to one of Diani’s most distinctive beachfront settings.
Taking headline duties is Detroit-born producer and DJ Evan Rhodes, a SAWA resident with more than two decades rooted in the underground. A multi-instrumentalist and prolific producer, Evan’s catalogue spans Minimal, Deep House, Garage and Techno, with releases on respected labels including Plastik People, Moiss Music, Robotical Grooves, Monophony and Sampled Detroit.
His productions have found recognition across Beatport and Traxsource, with tracks including Replay, Get My Mind Right, Blind, Body Bounce and Osmosis featuring prominently across the platforms and DJ charts.
Joining Evan for the evening are fellow SAWA residents L3MAYIAN B2B KIKO and RICKK, bringing together three distinct sound perspectives from within the SAWA family.
Expect a carefully orchestrated journey through deep grooves, stripped-back rhythms and intricate electronic sound, delivered through a powerful, finely tuned sound system against the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
